Real Time Gaming is the most popular online casino platform that accepts U.S. players. The company was established in Sandy Springs, GA in 1998. It later moved to Costa Rica. The company is often referred to as RTG.
There are hundreds of Real Time Gaming online casinos. There are about a dozen groups that are licensees. These companies spread multiple skins.
The platform is extremely fast and stable. The graphic intensity is lower than most other online casinos, but this is the trade off for having a platform that does not lag or crash.
Real Time Gaming Banking
Each Real Time Gaming group processes its own payments. Most accept Mastercard and Visa. There is also a private prepaid debit card available for players that have their bank issued card declined. Some also accept Western Union. These options are available to Americans and players throughout the world. Players outside the U.S. have traditional ewallets available at all RTG sites, including Neteller and Skrill.
Real Time Gaming Casino Games
Real Time Gaming spreads slots, video poker, table games, keno, scratch cards, and bingo. The most popular game is slots. There are over 100 slot titles available to RTG licensees. Some do not choose to spread all of them. Most slots are multi line 5 reel games, while others stick to the traditional classic three-reel one liners. It is important to note that each licensee may set the return of the slots. They may not play the same from one RTG casino to another.

RTG Scandals
Real Time Gaming gives its licensees a lot of involvement in the operation of casino sites. Slot returns may be adjusted and all banking is handled by the skins. This has created some issues with players not getting paid.
The biggest scandal in Real Time Gaming’s history came when a player won $1.3 million playing at Hampton Casino. The game he played was Caribbean 21. It is no longer spread by any RTG casino due to its razor-thin house edge and this controversy. The same player also won $96,000 from Delano Casino playing the same game.
The player was accused of using a bot to play, meaning the casino felt that a software script was playing, not a real human. After intense pressure from the online casino community, the player agreed to settle for an undisclosed amount.
